Deciphering different doctrines can be tricky, but it’s the goal of a Theological Nomad to learn to uncover and discuss theology with confidence! Theological triage is the best way I’ve found to think about the importance of different doctrines to decide where to take a stand for truth and where to give way for unity.

Thankfulness has the power to bring us together. If we focus on discontentments we can’t change, it pushes us away from one another, but when we recognize all we have and the shared blessing we’ve received, the thanksgiving that comes is unifying in an unexpected way.

The gathering of the church is a beautiful thing, but it’s more common today that someone who says they attend church regularly only attends every other week. The question is, what does someone get from the weekly gathering of the church that they can’t find anywhere else? What makes the gathering of the Church distinct?

There are a lot of ideas out there in the world of theology, and the Theological Nomad is willing to explore them all, not for the sake of knowledge or due to an inability to settle, but for understanding and unity in the church and a deeper comprehension of God.
